Originally from the UK, Kim has worked in the non-profit housing sector in Vancouver for more than 25 years having joined McLaren Housing in 2010. Under her leadership the society has more than doubled its programs, services and staffing and has created an established continuum of housing provision for low income families and individuals in the Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Kim is a strong voice for the importance of adequate housing in HIV health and the value of portable subsidies as an affordable and effective housing solution. She is currently a Board Member of Pacific AIDS Network, the provincial agency representing organizations working with the HIV/AIDS community.

Madeline Paris has over 30 years’ experience as a small business owner and manager. At McLaren Housing, Madeline’s expertise and responsibilities include daily operations, wait list management, and annual rent review oversight. She also has overall responsibility for human resources.
Madeline has demonstrated a long term commitment to volunteerism – for over 20 years she was an active board member at Kiwassa Neighbourhood House in East Vancouver. In this role, she oversaw the creation and ongoing operation of two non-market housing developments – Norah Davis and May McLean.
Madeline’s unflagging commitment, ability to solve complex problems, and calm repose in stressful situations, make her an invaluable member of McLaren Housing’s senior management team.
Chris possesses a Bachelor of Business Degree and the designations of CPA, CGA, FCCA (UK), CPA (Aust.) and CPA (HK). He has decades of post qualification experience in a full spectrum of strategic planning, financial management & services in complex charity/not-for-profit, health care, housing, educational and community services organizations. He has superb knowledge and hands-on experience in strategic planning, contracts negotiation with BC Housing, VCHA & FHA, ad hoc and periodic financial reporting; I.T., ERP, HR/payroll, property & facilities management systems development; financial researches and analyses; funds and cash flow management; budgets development and consolidation; budgetary control and variance analyses; risk managements, legal and HR supports; budgets and financial reports presentation at Board meetings and secretarial supports to Finance Committee; team building and office administration.
